The White Wide Leg Pants I’m Wearing All Day Every Day
Sometimes your friends really deliver the good stuff. When my good friend said she ordered some high-waisted wide-peg pants she loved, I started listening. Then I leaned in closer when she said she has an extra pair she thinks might fit me. I went out of my way to try them on before I left town for my second Florida trip last month. If you were watching my insta stories, then you know they slipped right on and immediately became my new favorite pants.
I would highly recommend each of you invest in this pair of wide leg white pants or a pair just like them. I’ve talked about white trousers and denim here, here, here and here. White pants in general are an easy way to feel polished, fresh and fun. They effortlessly elevate any blouse and jacket combo. This difference with these pants is that they are versatile. I can wear these just as confidently into a board room as I can into a club. They are comfortable, don’t wrinkle and cover up all the stuff you want covered.
This Look
Let’s start with how I’m wearing the pants here. It was the first day of RVA Fashion Week. I wanted to say “Hi” to quite a few people in a professional, yet fun way. Little did I know I would meet Kate Bosworth the same night and give her my highlights of Richmond, which she took seriously! While a bit of wine and confidence from a friend helped fuel this unexpected interaction, I felt put together and prepared to stand alongside the movie star in these white wide leg pants. I had paired them with a fun floral tie-front top from Sweetest Stitch for a funky fashion flare. Kate was big fan of the chenille cardigan. I’ve linked to a few varieties of each below.
I’ve also worn these babies with a more formal work blouse and blazer, I’ve worn them with another crop top for a more sexy/sophisticated vibe. I’ll be wearing them in many other ways. Stay tuned and I’ll show you how.
A Special Thank You
I wanted to extend a special thank you to the talented photographer Mike Attilla. He took these photos for an upcoming feature for River City Fashion Uprising. The staff interviewed me all about my career, my blog, and my style. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out.
