Labor Day is around the corner. I still have a closet full of white. I don’t plan on stopping wearing any of it. These white jeggings have become a new easy stable in my closet. I actually own two pairs so there is always one that is clean. After I threw my dirty hair into double buns for an updated hot weather look, I fell into a sort of Leia inspired outfit. It’s funky, but, hey.
For a day of random creative meetings and a long lunch date at the new K Town in Richmond (delicious!), I threw on these pants and reached for other super versatile staples. These components are all items I have had for a while and wear in many ways.
I was late to the black flat lace up game, but these flats from Mod & Soul (only in store at 323 W. Broad Street, Richmond, VA) have been life changing. I wear them with cropped pants, skirts, and lots of stripes for an easy workwear upgrade. They make hoofing it in between meetings downtown easy while I also still feel chic.
When your boyfriend takes your photos, you turn into a rocket sometimes. I’m glad I finally got to shoot in front of this mural on the Canal Club in downtown Richmond. My new goal is to incorporate more local art in to my photos. Get ready, ya’ll!
These glass were a surprise addition to my wardrobe. My boyfriend’s little brother sent him home with them. He knew they would be something I was into. Yes. I am into them. Yes, I’m wearing them on top of my head as I write this post. Thank you!
Last but not least, how do we all feel about chokers? After my first introduction to choker-like necklaces with A Jewelry Wonderland in this post, I knew I had to invest in a black one for more polished looks. I wear it during the day now, too!
