I don’t know about you, but choosing what to wear in the mornings has gotten a lot more exciting since the snow has started to melt! After hosting a Closet Swap this past weekend (photos to come!), I’ve added some light blues, whites, and pinks to my wardrobe to get myself away from the all-black uniform. Not that I don’t love a classic black silhouette, but sometimes you have to swing the pendulum to get your creative juices flowing.
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I’ve been checking out a lot of beautiful looks from my favorite fashion bloggers. Blush dresses, graphic tees, and sexy red lace will definitely be part of the lovers’ holiday trends this year. Who knows what I’ll be wearing or if we’ll decide to wait to celebrate until we have a night out at the David Cross show on February 22. (Love = Laughs)
I recently styled an engagement session in which one of the looks will feature sweet whites and blues (more to come on that). It says love without all the predictable parts. So, with that theme in mind, I wanted to inspire my readers with not one, but two looks–one for him and one for her. I left the red, the pinks, and lace behind and went with two chic vintage ensembles featuring gems from Carreras Jewelers and threads from Far Fetch.
Ladies first. The inspiration for this vintage-meets-luxury look comes from this beautiful Cushion Blue Topaz and Diamond Pendant from Carreras.

Now on to my dream date. Sterling silver cufflinks would make the perfect gift for any beau who likes to dawn a suit for you. Paired with a suit like this, I’m clay in your hands. Mold me.

Are you feeling florals, yet? Too early? Or are they always okay year round?
