One Valentines Day Dress to Rule Them All
Confession, I wore this dress on New Year’s Eve. I hosted a wild party that has no photo evidence. Somehow this embroidered dress from Mod & Soul survived without so much as a tear. I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it. I’m happy to say I have decided it will make another appearance as my Valentines Day dress.
The tiered knee length dress features a mock neck, which almost has the effect of a choker because of the contrast with the nude mesh and slip. In fact, as delicate and conservative as this Valentines Day dress seems at first, it is undoubtedly bondage inspired. Not to mention the sheer mesh covering a nude slip that came with the dress. I’m practically naked under this thing! Sex appeal, check!
Nevertheless, the dreamy floral embroidery and midi length helps keep it PG. The long sleeves lead to a tiny bell ruffle. It makes my hand look like its own little flower. Too much imagination? I don’t know, but this dress has me dreaming.
I first wore the floral embroidered dress with a pair of gold platforms and my hair in two buns for New Year’s Eve. Definitely like things a little funky to ring in the new year. To transform it into my Valentine’s Day dress, I found these red booties from Charlotte Russe. I’m excited to wear them with more neutral outfits. They are perfect for walking around in the city!
