Terra’s Kitchen Richmond Event
Just before I headed out of town recently, I was fortunate to attend an event in Richmond hosted by Terra’s Kitchen. Along with other local bloggers and members of the media, I got to learn about the meals by mail service offered by Terra’s Kitchen.
Terra’s partnered with local companies Blanchard’s Coffee, Belle Isle Craft Spirits and Gearhardt’s Fine Chocolates to help tell their story and compliment the meal of the night. It was very evident that he company values connecting with the communities it serves.
Who wouldn’t be giddy when greeted by a pretty smiling girl offering groumet chocolates? I can’t wait to visit Bethany for a beer + chocolate tasting soon!
Me and of some of the Terra’s Kitchen crew, local bloggers, and radio personalities.
Belle Isle let us sneak peak at their latest creation with Blanchard’s Coffee. The coffee-infused moonshine was delicious and the creators say it’s the perfect hangover cure.
In case you didn’t know it, I like coffee. So, here I am in my natural habitat and my coffee has booze in it. This means I’m extra happy.
We’re ready to eat! I loved spending time chatting it up with RVA’s biggest food bloggers Elizabeth of I Heart Vegetables and Brittany of Eating Bird Food.
Terra’s featured their Grilled Chicken Tacos with Avacado Goat Cheese Sauce. It. Was. Amazing.
Creative Culinary Director Libbie Summers shared some of her personal experiences with cooking and the philosophy behind Terra’s. You can expect fresh ingredients and meals that are ready in less than 30 minutes. With a rotating seasonal menu, each meal comes with a step-by-step recipe card to ensure that dinner is easy-to-make (think Honey Mustard Chicken Breast with Grilled Vegetable Kabobs, Tomato Scallion Rice With Cheesy Grilled Squash or Grilled NY Strip Steak With Tomatoes, Eggplant & Basil Chimichurri in under 30 minutes!). Use the code SAUCE50 to receive $50 off your first order of Terra‘s Kitchen.
Sign me up! Wait. I actually did sign up. I get my first Terra’s Kitchen meals next week and can’t wait to tell you more! It is going to be the helping hand I need after being away for two weeks and still struggling to keep my closet in order, much less my refridgerator!
At the end, I happened to be the winner of a Le Cruset pan to cook my meals on! I was totally blushing and felt more than warm and welcome by the end of the evening. I look forward to following all of the local companies involved in this fun evening. Thank you so much for thinking of Sweet Sauce and letting me tell your story to my friends and followers!
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Terra’s Kitchen. The opinions and text are all mine.
That was such a fun event and it was so great getting to catch up! 🙂
Hope to see you Tuesday!
