Hair Trends to Try this Fall
Once upon a perfect night, unclouded and still, there came the face of a pale and beautiful lady. The tresses of her hair reached out to make the constellations, and the dewy vapors of her gown fell soft upon the land.

Sometimes we get so caught up in what to buy and wear for the fall, we forget to think about the basics. We wear our hair every day. Why shouldn’t we treat it with a little more attention as the season changes? I’ve been doing some research on hair trends that will be popular this fall.

All Tied Up
This is my favorite (and easiest) fall hair trend this year. I’ve been rocking the pony tail a lot, especially as I incorporate more sweaters and jackers into my wardrobe. It helps my hair not blend in or catch static. Head to your local craft store and make the perfect bow for any outfit.

Chocolate Mauve
I miss my pink hair, ya’ll! This subtle pink hair color is totally perfect for fall. Ditch the candy pastel pink and ask for a warmer, darker color at your salon. Bonus: If your stylist is good enough, you won’t even have to touch this ombre-style up. It will grow out and wash out beautifully. If you want it to stay pink longer, wash with cold water.

Wave Runner
Leave the salty beach spray in your summer stash. To get waves that are a bit more polished, simply wear your clean hair up in a couple of twisted buns or loose braids. Ask your stylist for the best products to make you look less like a beach bum and more like a sexy librarian.

Face Framing Highlights
Leave it to Chrissy to do a soft glow right. Highlights that frame your face are easily the best bang for your fall hair budget buck. You’ll see them when you pull your hair back in a pony tail and when you wear it down in soft curls or waves (like above). Pick a warmer hue for this fall.
Knotted Waterfall
This look is sleek in the front but creative and lively in the back. Though it might be reserved for ladies with longer hair, I hope everyone can give it a try. It will look great with those turtle necks, full jackets, and scarves. Rock some killer earrings since your hair is up and you can put them on fill display.

Halfway Honey
This hair color trend is very similar to the ombre trend of 2015. What’s different is that it’s much more subtle. Ask your stylist to blend your strands much more like you see in the photo above. I also would love to see this with a brown/mauve combo!
