Spirit Airlines Hits RVA and I’m Getting On!
As life brings transition, loss, change, success, and more, there’s one prescription that always seems to breathe renewal and focus into my life: travel. A good getaway clears my mind, so I can return prepared to think clearly and with focus in my professional life. Leaving town almost always opens doors to new understandings of my personal life that not even a therapist has been able to achieve. Most importantly, it’s a license to have a plain old good time and reconnect with friends/family who come along for the ride.
Fortunately there are many affordable ways to hit the roads and airways these days. I wrote about a few cost savings tips here. If you live in Richmond, there is one you must check out: Spirit Airlines. The fresh airplane fleet and approach to flying is not only affordable, but no-nonsense. For example, instead of having costs like baggage, seat preference, and refreshments worked into your flight cost, you can choose whether or not to pay for those things. This saves you money at the end of the day. After all, it’s all about the destination, not the ride. When you save more money, you can travel more. And that’s exactly what he doctor ordered.
Something Special Is Happening Today (March 15)
To invite Richmond to learn more about it’s new direct flights to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, they’re hosting a day of fun at Richmond International Airport. As you scroll through the schedule below, you’ll see they’re giving away FREE FLIGHTS TO FLORIDA! One catch: you have to come with your bags packed. While you’re there, you’ll get to jam to music, here from airline reps themselves and all kinds of fun photo opps. You might just see Sweet Sauce there if any morning meetings go well!

Where I’m Headed Next
I’ll be hopping on one of these Spirit Airlines planes in April! I’m headed to Fort Lauderdale. I’m taking my girl Shannon, renting a car, and making our way from Fort Lauderdale to Key West over the course of 5 days. I’ll be mapping out the road trip along the way, sharing my tips, and wearing killer outfits. Get ready to follow along…
Thank you for your partnership, Spirit Airlines!
