Six Types of Fall Hats Under $100
Fall fashion is here. We talk a lot about sweaters, boots, and coats this time of year. Adding a hat to your cold-weather outfit can polish off your cozier looks and even add an extra feminine touch. Of course, fall hats add warmth, as well. My grandma always said, “If your feet are cold, put on a hat.” So, before you go splurging on fall sweaters and winter coasts, here are my recommendations for fall hats to buy now:
The Beret: This classic hat has become a favorite over the years. The beret has roots in a variety of French and military traditions. The beret hat slips on simply and always adds polish.
Wide Brim Fedora: I’ve almost worn mine out. This hat is also called a rancher hat. Look for wool and felted fabrics for simple and sturdy wear.
Stage Coach Hat: This is the hat I wore to most of Coachella. The top and brim are both more circular than a fedora or cowboy-style hat. You can also find them by searching for a Gambler hat.
Beanie: There’s nothing easier to polish a casual streetwear look than a beanie. It’s also the coziest fall hat of them all. I have a few in both light and dark colors. It’s best to stick to solids so they can match with any look.
Fisherman’s Cap: This is also called a “Lieutenant Hat.” Wear it with your nice wool coats and sweaters for a little funky polish.
Baseball Cap: Some of my favorite bloggers like Fashion Jackson wear baseball caps so cleanly all the time. It adds a sporty edge to your cozy looks. For casual days, add a baseball cap to your fall hats lineup.
