If You Have a Peach, Shop These Fall Pants for Curvy Girls
I’ve got a treat for you: My nickname within my family was “bubble butt” from an early age. It was just always there. Now that I’m in my 30s and have grown close with my cousins, I realize it’s genetic! The curvy girl figure runs strong on my dad’s side of the family. It appears to come from my grandma! As I’ve grown older, gone through a pandemic, and started dating a chef, the hips have grown a little wider. I have adapted my wardrobe and created a collection of pants for curvy girls I wanted to share with you all. Love your curves and wear them with pride, baby girl.
- Express 90s Bootcut Jeans ($80): I popped into Express during a quick trip to the mall recently. I could NOT be more impressed. These jeans come very high, have a lightly stretchy material, and feature a light wash I love.
- Express Super High Waisted Distressed Slim Jeans ($89): These are so versatile and perfectly tapered for an elongated silhouette. They are mega comfy but look like raw denim.
- Windsor High Waist Plaid Pants ($32): These pants are basically leggings but have polish and structure. Wear them to the office or to happy hour and feel chic.
- Any Vibrant Miu Flares ($37+): I have FOUR pairs of Vibrant Miu jeans. They are stretchy, high-waisted, and extra flirty.
- Any Levi’s 501s ($80+): Another repeat style in my closet: Levi’s 501’s. These Levi’s jeans are made for a smaller waist and wider hip. I have them in white, distressed light wash, and black. They have a straight-leg shape at the bottom.
- Any Levi’s 721s ($60+): If you need traditional skinny jeans, these are perfect. they have a little bit of structure but aren’t thick and uncomfortable. They will shape to your body over time like a glove.
- Boyish Charley Jeans ($180+): Boyish makes some damn comfy jeans, yall. I honestly think they are all really great for curves, but I personally own the Charley jeans. They are buttery soft and hug the hips well.
About My Size
For reference, I’m 5’2″, 130 lbs, and typically wear a size 4 or 6 in pants. For skirts and shorts, I usually reach for size 8 or large.
