Just like that, and it feels like spring in Richmond. While I’m no weatherman, I feel like it’s safe for us to officially keep our sandals and sunnies out.
As you plan out your days at breweries around Richmond (anyone been to Veil or Stone, yet?), you don’t have to stick to the normal sundress and wedges look. While it’s a gorgeous silhouette, you can get even more comfortable without sacrificing the class.
I was inspired by this 14k Gold Quartz Pendent necklace from the Carreras estate collection. Pendent necklaces of any kind can and should be a warm-weather staple. They elongate your torso and can make any outfit feel put together.
I shopped around some of the best Richmond area boutiques that also have an online component to create this relaxed look. The racer-back tank is from Tailor, one of the newest online-only boutiques to launch out of Richmond. You’ll find tons of great staples and floral patterns in its spring collection. The flowing palazzo pants are from Mod & Soul, which has been exclusively online for the past year and half and just opened a store front in the Arts District.
These perfect Aquazurra suede gladiator sandals are from Roan‘s online boutique. The online selection pales in comparison their in-store selection. The Carytown-based boutique is a candy store of luxury designer items straight from the runways. Roan will be a featured boutique during my Food + Fashion Tour of Carytown on May 11. Will you be there?
