Planning an awesome vacation? You’re probably wondering what you should pack…
Your image reflects who you are and what you want to say to the world. Sharice Styleshas some trends and inspiration boards to share from the four #fashion capitals of the world to keep you current and #ootd post worthy this summer. Whether you’re traveling abroad or within one of the 50 states, knowing what’s on trend will help you limit your worry (and how much) you pack.
Floral is the trend in Milan this season.
You’ll find floralin all of your favorite stores. Mix your floral pieces with your basics. Floral from head to toe doesn’t work very well, so be sure to choose the pieces you think will stand out the most. Try adding a floral belt to a basic white tee and jeans, or a floral sandal with your nude dress for dinner. You might even try pairing floral with another pattern like stripes! Have fun with it and be bold.
Paris is celebrating the Bohemian 70’s Vibe
That’s no news to Sweet Sauce. So if you haven’t thrown away your 70’s gear, or have been inspired by your thrift store trips, then don’t hold back for your next vacation. If you actually lived through the 70s, don’t be surprised if the youth in your family raid your closet to see what they can find. From fringe and Aztec prints, to large-stoned jewelry and suede, it’s all back in style. Have fun pairing the funky pieces with some of the more simple and timeless pieces in your wardrobe.
Mesh is theNew York Trend You Can Wear Any Way You Want
The Big Apple is known for its fashion edge and this season is no exception. Mesh can be done is such a classy way if you open up to the possibilities. Try a mesh shoe, handbag or jewelry pieces. You can also try a mesh shirt or dress by layering it with a simple tee. I’ve seen some very tasteful plus size mesh tops this season from Ashley Stewart.
The current trend in London is Bold Prints
Bright, beautiful patterns like stripes and shapes are making up the best street styles. Don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone with this trend, but do make sure the patterns and colors you choose to mix create a flow with one another. Try to create a story with the lines and colors.
Most of the trends this season can be mixed together so have fun and play with them until you make them your own. Remember the most important rule to fashion is that it makes you feel the most YOU.
What you wear speaks to the world before you open your mouth so let your clothes tell your story.
I’m partial to the 70’s vibe! I’m sort of wishing I had some mesh as I head to New York this weekend, though. What’s your favorite trend Sharice shared?
