Welcome to the First Edition of Humble Hump Day
I’ve been in the blog game for more than two years now. I have had so much fun and wouldn’t have it any other way. From photoshoots, to answering questions from followers, to chatting with my fellow blog babes–it’s an exciting way to share my life’s secrets with you. Keeping it real has always been a mantra for me. When I started Sweet Sauce, I promised myself I would only share the clothes I actually wear, the food I actually eat, and the places I actually travel to. All those fabulous pictures come thanks to a lot of work by me and my friends. I’ve stayed true to keeping it real, but something has been missing… the bloopers.
Everytime I take photos for Sweet Sauce, there are about 50 more photos that never touch the web or my Insta. I want to start sharing those strange faces and awkward poses with you from now on in an effort to keep it real. For the foreseeable future, you can catch me and my ridiculous blog photo bloopers on the last Wednesday of each month for Humble Hump Day. I’ll pull the weird shots for you laugh at and hopefully somehow still gain inspiration from. Let’s get started with these gems…
This is a special throwback to that time I went to New York Fashion Week for the first time during a blizzard. I took my closest friend with me who braved the ridiculous conditions me. I look like a baby bear coming out of hibernation. Who ate my porridge? See the look here.
I’m basically always making these faces at any boyfriend. I feel sorry for him, especially when he plays photographer. I’m still kind of obsessed with this look, though. See the details here.
I’m sharing this one because I hate my soft tummy here. There were a few in this series I didn’t share on the blog because of the way my tummy turned out. I thought I’d come clean here. I’m still obsessed with this top, though. Get the look here.
I still insist on trying to pose with things like wine bottles. I’m just not sure what I was going for here, except to express that I love wine. This blooper is for all my lushes. The outfit is stinking cute and super affordable, though. Get this all-white look here.
Someone must have asked me to look off wistfully in the distance in the middle of a dust bowl. I’m probably just wondering where I put my Panera card. See this look here.
