As I’ve become more in touch with who I am more than ever before, I’ve decided there are things that always make me happy in my closet:

Enter this grey off the shoulder sweater from StyleWe. It caught my eye as soon as I saw it. The texture is soft to the touch and thick enough to keep me warm even though it is off the shoulder. I threw it on with my favorite Levi’s for a day of errands. The cropped shape hit right at the smallest part of my waist and the hem of my high-waisted Levi’s. Hello Marilyn Monroe silhouette!

My dusty pink oversized coat was the perfect topper. If it had been any colder, I would have thrown on something that zipped up. The weather went from blizzard to mild spring here in Virginia pretty quickly. I’m glad I’ve been stocking up on coats. They help you transition at the drop of a hat. I talked about that in Monday’s post with my new faux fur thrift find.

You saw me wear this pink coat with a grey sweater dress in December. It was an easy choice to throw it over this grey off the shoulder sweater when I needed the extra warmth this week. Anyways, you see a trend with the grey and pink? I don’t care. It makes mixing and matching my closet so much easier. In fact, I have grey suede OTK boots and a pink sweater on the way!
