The day has come and gone, but it doesn’t mean we can’t continue to be grateful for the right to get up, get dressed, and be happy. I am thankful for this creative expression every day. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! If you have or are doing some Black Weekend shopping, may the sweet sauce be with you.
I asked for you to send in pictures of your outfits on Thanksgiving, and you answered! Check out who wore what and how they wore it. Maybe you’ll find some inspiration for the endless holiday gatherings upon us in the near future.
Hannah looks absolutely divine in her fitted lady coat and deep reds. The boots are Canadian made and no doubt most, if not all, of her outfit is thrifted. Follow her on Instagram for regular outfit posts that she thrifts right here in Richmond, VA: @goshdarnfashionista.
Chaz looks very cultured, but comfortable in his Thanksgiving attire. His Asian-cut collar is from India and his suede pants are from Banana Republic, both were thrifted. His arm piece is from Japan, a place very dear to him. Check out his blog for some inspiration today at IAmMyLife.org.
Miss Molly is wearing her grandma’s vintage fur. That’s the only kind of real fur I like to wear–the kind given as an heirloom or the kind found in a thrift store. Her pearls are from Stella & Dot. The understated black shirt and black pants make everything pop.
Shasta strikes again. She looks casual, but crisp here in her oversized cardigan. Her boots are thrifted and I want some!
Hello, Emily! She looks dashing and so does her hubby. Her shirt is from Madewell and her booties are Vince Camuto.
There’s me and my weird photos. I got some new shades from Ann Taylor on sale for $15 and I can’t take them off. I picked up this very berry sweater last weekend at Marshalls for $15, knowing I would wear the crap out of it. I decided to wear it on Thanksgiving because I made a berry salad and the colors were on my mind. I wanted to make sure you saw my new American Apparel high waisted jeans that were crucial to making me feel smooth and slim despite the onslaught of potatoes, pies, and minute-to-win-it games. The boots are my favorite possession, purchased this fall from Nine West.
Don’t forget, Sweet Sauce is here to make you feel proud of your creativity and beauty!
