One and Done Outfit: Jumpsuits to Shop Now
I’ve been thinking of floating into summer with ease. Less is most certainly more at this stage in my life. I can’t afford to blend in with the sidewalk, though. This floral jumpsuit recently popped out of my closest and made me pay attention to it. I took it on a trip last summer to the Shenandoah Valley (back when I had pink hair). You can read my travel guide here.
Why Floral Jumpsuits?
I’ve recently gone through and pulled items from my closet to donate or sell before the new season arrives. I pulled a few of my floral jumpsuits for consideration. I decided they are all staying AND I want more. Why? Because you’re put together with one garment. You’re not just put together, you have a “wow” factor you won’t get with any other singular item, unless you’re going to the Met Gala is some royal bedazzled gown. That’s not real life. Floral jumpsuits are perfectly practical for real life.
How do you Wear Them?
Super Casual: For backyard barbecues and trips to the store, play down the look. Grab a jean jacket, nude sandals, booties or even sneakers to play it down. Throw on your shades and you’re effortlessly the cool girl in a second.
Kinda Casual: Winery trips and bunches are certainly on your summer wishlist. Wear a floral jumpsuit to these to stand out. Elevate the jumpsuit with simple jewelry like gold hoops, mules, and a light blazer or cardigan. Pull your hair back for extra polish and less fuss.
Let’s Party: You can wear these babies to the club, I promise. Reach for your taller heels and take your makeup a notch. Add a smokey eye and bold lip to let everyone know you mean business. If you need the coverage, grab a leather jacket to keep the edge even when you go outside.
