It’s Fancy Sweater Weather

Sometimes when we think of fall fashion, we go right to the casual vibes. When it’s time to dress up and still feel cozy, we somehow wind up feeling blah. This is especially true when a more professional or elevated look is what we need. After a recent trip into Versona, I’m pumped to say that’s not the case this season. I discovered a lot of flirty, flattering, and totally cozy pieces. I’ve decided it’s officially fancy sweater weather.

The Look

Case and point: this fancy sweater weather look. This ensemble would do perfectly well in the office, over a coffee networking meeting, or  even a happy hour date. The stripes on the bell sleeve sweater add a touch of structure and refinement while the bell shape makes the sweater totally feminine. I chose the mauve tone, though the sweater also comes in black and white. If you have to dress up every day, getting one in each color wouldn’t be a bad idea. The ribbed skirt is lined. This means it’s warm and also smooths out anything I’m self conscious about.

A Little Bit About Versona

I also scored this striped blouse from Versona during my most recent fall shopping trip. I also think the striped top would be cute tucked into this ribbed pencil skirt. I’ve already worn the striped top with my black leather skirt from Loft. I shop at the Versona in Short Pump Town Center, but you can shop every item online. The store itself is fun to visit because of the large selection of jewelry, bags, and shoes to top off your looks. I like mixing and matching this stuff in real life, personally.  I also like the gift selection in the store. I usually pick something up for a friend or family member when I’m there.
