Clothes Mentor in Richmond Is a Fashion Haven for Designer Deals
I’ve talked about consignment and thrift shopping many, many times here on Sweet Sauce. I believe shopping and selling consignment is part of an inspiring cycle of fashion. There is something beautiful about finding something special for yourself, using it for as long as it serves you for that time in your life, and then being at peace enough to release it to the community for someone to find it for themselves when the time is right.
I visited one of Richmond’s largest consignment stores a couple weeks ago with the fun, talented, and trend-setting Danny of Danny Foto. The international fashion photographer and blogger has made her home in Richmond the past two years and is making plans to move to Atlanta. This collaboration was a fun way to send her off with creative color.
We took a trip to Clothes Mentor and both picked out three outfits to share with you. This is the first of three posts we’ll share over the next few weeks. Danny arranged all the photos and edited them so well there were hardly any “bloopers” or throw-away photos. Follow her work with magazines and major brands as well as her street style photography here.
Something you’ll notice about our looks is that we have killer handbags! Clothes Mentor had the largest selection of name brand bags I’ve ever seen. I’m talking two entire walls of Michael Kors, Kate Spade and Coach. I’ve got a treat for you if you are hunting for the perfect essentials for summer:
Mention this post and get 20% off standard brand-name items and 10% off all designer items through 7/31.
See what Danny and I picked out for this first bloggers-day-out concept.
Everything we are wearing is from Clothes Mentor other than our shoes and jewelry. Though, I did try on some shoes and jewelry, I couldn’t make up my mind!
I’ve never rocked a Michael Kors tote before. I feel like I’m in a new club now because I understand the craze now. The quality, structure, and classic shape are made for the modern working woman.
These Gap pants could be worn for work or play. Clothes Mentor specializes in clothing that is like-new and fit for the 25+ crowd. Don’t visit looking for last seasons’ Forever 21 crop tops. Come to Clothes Mentor in search of Cole Haan wedges at 50% off, or chic pants from Lilly, Anne Taylor, or Banana. I kept a vintage Coach bag you might have seen on Instagram.
Clothes Mentor has two locations in Richmond. Do yourself a favor and stop by and put my exclusive discount to use by mentioning this post.
