Blushing Richmond Blog Launches for RVA Brides
Just before the first day of summer, editorial assistant Arianna Rose spent an evening with Richmond’s newest blog concept: Blushing Richmond. As you all know, we at the Sweet Sauce family enjoy event hopping, delicious food, and empowered women. I was disappointed I couldn’t make it, Arianna made sure to take plenty of pictures and videos, as well as chat with Beki.
Beki Shaw welcomed ladies and gents from around the city to share her ideas to empower Richmond’s growing wedding scene. She kicked things off June 19 at local store House of Floralie.
Held at the self-proclaimed “Fine & Fancy Gift Studio,” the House of Floralie proved the perfect space for this event. The store is known for its charming gifts and sweet treats, including candles, home décor, books, accessories, beauty and wellness items, and more. Seamlessly on-trend with the vision of Blushing Richmond, House of Floralie often customizes gift baskets for local bridal parties and events.
The blog launch was a hit, and although it was raining harder than bridal shower outside, House of Floralie was radiating sunshine. Small bites, complimentary beverages, and a storewide 20% off discount were offered.
Beki is passionate about fostering a resource and online community for all things Richmond Weddings—click over to the Blushing Richmond blog here to check out local Real Weddings, Engagements, Showers & Bachelorette Parties, event trends and inspiration. You can also and learn more about what drove this VCU alumna to spearhead a wedding blog. Congrats, Beki!
