Happy Monday, lovers! How was your romantic dinner for two, your wild Fifty Shades movie date for five, or your solo sexy night in?
What’s Old is New
I had a pretty casual Valentine’s Day that involved a long mani pedi sesh (a gift to me, from me) and a dinner at home cooked by candle light after the power went out!! Good thing I snapped some photos before chaos ensued. We finished the night with good drinks with friends who had power.
I am wearing some really old pieces here, all of which I vowed to wear more of this year.
The pants are Divided for H&M, bought from Good Will for an 80s concert about 5 years ago. The closest I can find are these 7 for All Mankind jeans. Pardon my hair totally messed up by the wild wind.
And, finally, the shoes, which are new. I have been lurking around Ross a lot lately because we just moved. One day, I couldn’t resist these Nine West shoes that are exactly what I’ve been looking for. All of my black heels are open-toed. These will get me through the rest of the cold months. I may even rock them to work.
Closet Swap Makeover
Shasta had a fun date night with her man. They had dinner at Grapevine and came home to make a mug chocolate molten cake?! Yum. Then, they watched The Interview for the second time together. I need to get on that. Her outfit here features a blazer from my closet swap! Love it!
Finally, the booties that I’m sure made this really chilly Valentine’s Day much more bearable. She got them from H&M and also wore them throughout the holiday season. I couldn’t find suede ones, but I do love these leather black booties with a bit of a pointed toe.
