Last Thursday, a group of driven and fabulous Richmond women came together to host the first of many events in Richmond. Our concept is simple: bring business owners, designers, fashion brands, and fashion forward people in Richmond together to empower each other and empower women.
The first Haute Happy Hour went down at MTK Auto and featured a fashion show of Kamala Baghat’s latest designs, shopping with Sweetest Stitch and Claville Fashion Truck, music by Shanel Ashely, a cash bar, and LOTS of networking and socializing. We donated proceeds from the event to Dress for Success Central Virginia, who’s mission is is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and life.
Let’s see what went down.
What I Wore
Vest/Top/Skirt/ Heels
This new black vest or “sleeveless blazer” is everything. I paired with a miniskirt, crop top, and my favorite heels. I’ll be wearing the vest over a lot of tops this fall. It has deep pockets. Good for events! Get more details about this outfit here.
