Quirky Patterns

I have been struggling with the transition into fall and have been even more nervous about winter. My old coats were seeming lackluster. I have forgotten how to layer. Like a lost child, I have been searching for new essentials to layer with ease this fall while trying to avoid overdosing on dark colors.  I wanted some new patterns and shapes in my life. Enter light flowing shirts and statement coats.

The new online boutique Nooissue had both. A current VCU student has started this new brand that features rich colors, flattering shapes, and easy to wear patterns. I am incredibly impressed with the sophisticated theme of Nooissue’s collection.

I picked out this coat and blouse and photographed this outfit at the new Quirk Hotel.

What did you think of Nooissue? I would start skimming the site for your new years outfit. I’m kind of in love with this geometric sparkle top and this layered velvet dress (only $35!).
