Navy Bell Sleeve Top #OOTD
Belle sleeves were big this summer. I have more than a few dresses in my closet to prove it. The 70’s vibe is here and alive. You can tell in last week’s post featuring a white off the shoulder bell sleeve blouse. I cannot get enough of the silhouette. This navy bell sleep top from Dress Lilly is a new favorite fall staple.
I think the bell sleeve shape is flattering for a number of reasons. The flare elongates the arms just enough. If the sleeves fit right, the end should fall right at your wrist and leave a little room for the wrist to show as it shifts and flows. The wrists and ankles are the star of the show when you start layering for colder weather. Keep them peeping for an extra feminine flare.
As long as your sleeves are not too long, a bell sleeve top can actually be more comfortable for ladies who like to get sh*t done. (I’m also a fan of quarter-length sleeves). I’m never pushing my bell sleeves out of the way. They seem to float out of the way on their own.
I am wearing this bell sleeve, baby doll blouse with a favorite pair of fall skinny jeans (I linked to a bunch under $30 here). The burgundy color is one of my favorites to rock this time of year. I even love pairing it with bright whites and blush tones left over from summer.
I also plan to wear this top with white flare jeans, cropped work pants and flats, and possibly even a mini and knee-high boots for an ultra 70’s babe vibe.
