Five Fall Fashion Trends for ALL at LOFT
The Sweet Sauce team ended this past weekend on a high note by visiting the LOFT store at Chesterfield Towne Center. The store was bursting at the seams with new pieces perfect for work and play. It became our fashion playground Sunday evening as we styled looks for an exciting event that is now unfortunately postponed. We are not only pumped to get our hands on the latest fall fashion trends from a brand we’ve always loved, but we are inspired by LOFT’s new plus size options. The brand now offers looks to sizes 00-26, a major statement and a big win for ALL our ladies out there.
Although the store–one of the largest in the region–was packed with a wide variety of takes and interpretations on fall trends to count, there were a few fall trends that we loved the most. Check out these Top 5 looks you’ll see Megan, Becca and Arianna wearing this fall.
Leather Skirts
This piece comes in all shapes and sizes. It’s really the perfect transitional item to take you from the office to a night out on the town. The LOFT leather skirts we found add structure to flowy blouses and a bit of a badass flair to to a blazer.
Mellow Yellow
Typically a summer shade, yellow is making a major appearance this season. This color pairs well with a slew of other shades–dress it up with black for an office-friendly style. Pair with brown for a more relaxed bohemian vibe. This might be one of our favorite unexpected fall fashion trends.
Structured Blazers
Menswear pieces aren’t a new concept, but adding a structured blazer to your wardrobe is a perfectly preppy touch for fall. It can even be a little sexy if paired with a mini skirt or dress. Blazers with long lines are our favorites. They help elongate and slim your frame.
Moody Florals
Florals aren’t just for spring or summer anymore! Moody florals , especially in black, purple, and berry shades, add a flirty and mysterious vibe to your look. Make a specific shade in a floral pattern pop by pairing it with a similar shade skirt, jacket, or bold accessory.
Textured Sweaters
Chilly fall mornings call for fun textured sweaters. Try pairing a textured sweater in a fall-inspired hue (think burnt sienna, mustard, or olive green) with leather skirts or pants for a sassy, yet office-appropriate look.
