Leather Jackets for Spring: Burgundy Leather Jacket + Pale Pink Romper
I have quite a growing collection of leather jackets. Black, white, taupe, mixed material, and now this Burgundy leather jacket (just $33). I love pairing them with lady like items for an edgy, but feminine look. As the seasons change and the temperature heats up, don’t put your leather jackets away with your other winter clothes. They can help you transition any of your floral an flirty items from day to night. The result is a girly rocker chic vibe. Here, I’m wearing a few old favorites and a new spring accessory…
The Romper
This pink romper is from Sweetest Stitch in Richmond. I bought it just before I went to Spain two years ago (holy crap!). I rocked it on Instagram (also with a leather jacket) for the Southern Women’s Show here. Most people think it’s a dress! It’s so breezy and perfect for those days I don’t feel like wearing a bra or worrying about sitting Indian style. Here’s a very similar romper from Tobi, which can be 50% if you sign up for the brand’s emails!
The Shoes
I picked up these cuties after hunting for a new pair of comfortable black heels. Richmond blogger Stefanie from She Saw Style was rocking them on her feed and I had to have them. They are comfortable and durable enough for romping around downtown Richmond, which is covered in uneven cobblestones. Here’s a very similar pair from this season for just $23.
The Scarf
I’ve been eyeing the neck scarf trend for a while now. Until now, I hadn’t found any that made me happy or didn’t make me feel like I was choking to death. I wore a handkerchief in Monday’s post a couple ways. During a trip to Short Pump Mall before my Cycle Bar event, I popped into Urban Outfitters to see what was new. They have tons of neck scarves under $20. This one is really comfortable and goes with a lot of items in my closet.
The Colors
Check out this look where I’m pairing blush and Burgundy again. It’s a combo I wear quite a bit of. I have every item of clothing in each color. It’s a great way to wear color without being “colorful.” Simply mix in neutrals or greens to pull everything together. Let me know if you give it a try!
